Well there you go - but the filly suddenly was interested in running - and she did run just more than 6 lengths behind Malmoos last year this time - big MR drop and Bob's Yr Uncle - pity I don't rate this apprentice, so did not find that

Absolutely nothing wrong with that,shows the form horses are doing what they expected to do which seldom happens with our stuff.
Would you rather have a result like the the 6th where the winner ran 2nd to last,2nd to last,last and last in it's previous four runs then wins like an odds on shot from the front.

I know there was money for several other runners probably all because word was out that this favorite had problems somewhere down the line and ran accordingly.

I see even the stable where surprised with that winner as they backed it's stable mate heavily.

What’s with the kickback at the Vaal?

I've only noticed this last race..... Vaal track throwing up a lot of dust / sand....almost similar to Kenilworth..

Very odd me thinks with all the rain we've had, particularly this time of the year.

Nice to see Good horses winning their races for a change!!!

I think Monsoon Kenny will make it 7 from 8 for the favorites - My Kingdom to chase him home
