Talk about being on a hiding to nothing, the top liner is a MR 77, wow.
Race (1)
Unless there is a smart first timer in the race, think Rhythm Of The Rain will win despite a wide draw. Was a clear second last time out. Watch the betting on the first timers.
Race (2)
I Want It All looks the one they all have to beat. Made to work hard for the maiden victory, should appreciate the extra furlong. The danger must be Official Secret, dropping in class, merit rating drop, and from a fairly good draw, might try and dictate the pace. Will row in with I Want It All who has improved on every run.
Race (3)
Very open looking maiden race, on exposed form, Lyrics To Love and State Of Shock would probably be top of the betting board, however watch for money on the Nel first timer, Birdie And Bogie. Relatively unexposed horses, so wouldn’t be surprised if there is a train wreck result.
Race (4)
A MR 77 Handicap, think Fighter is bumping the right kind of field and could go very close, no good thing though.
Race (5)
Another lowly rated handicap (MR76), with some exposed older horses in the mix. Do think a three year old will win though, as they look the likely improvers. Whilst conceding weight the entire field bar, Star Of The South, make Silvano’s Dasher a runner here. The step up in distance should pose no problem.
Race (6)
The folk responsible for programming the races for this meeting surely made this difficult for the punters by adding an even lower merit rated race to the meeting – a MR71. Somehow think they are hoping for carry-overs. Anyway, hopefully Messrs. Kannemeyer and de Melo can pull off a quick double and “help” the punters successfully navigate this minefield of a meeting.
Race (7)
Just doesn’t get any easier for the punters, but if your P6 or JP is still running at this stage, you are doing extremely well, be kind and sell me a share in that ticket, please. The two with the exposed form to win this would be Nasiriyah and Opulence. Neither drawn well, but the rest of the field’s exposed form is very uninspiring, so either one could still win this.
Race (
Hopefully you have the field here if your multiple is still running, this is a maiden race and the field has an average merit rating of 61.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Shot Rods.
In other words, use a dart board for the brave or keep our lulus for another meeting.

R328 000 win pool and no.1 Rhythm Of The Rain paying R1 a win.
Is only the win pool comingled as the place pool is only R17 000?

Partly cloudy, moderate headwind. track good.
race 1 Rhythm of the Rain good form and should get it right today unless a decent first timer.
Race 2 Aus Bob my pick, although Fourie on I Want It All. Official Secret good KZN form, but weak two runs in CT. Picketberg Alley can earn.
Race 3 Boisterous Buddy the one to beat. Lyrics to Love good debut and the main danger. Again unraced runners could be anything.
Race 4 Final Move a bit disappointing last time but is the one to beat on best form, in a very open race.
Race 5 The scratching of Silvano's Dasher throws this wide open. My runner, Elusive Tango is game, and gets the plum draw, so has an ew shout. Son of Silk took a while to win his maiden, but looks kindly weighted.
race 6 Another competitive handicap where the improving 3yos take on the older more moderate hard knockers. Maybe The Future is Bright and Service Ace can show more improvement and strike a blow for the youngsters.
Race 7 A horrible maiden handicap where Nasiriyah and Opulence look the best of a bad bunch but must concede weight.
race 8 Another of the same, where Augusta Green has the best form but can't be a confident selection.

Never ever travelling well from the start.
Did she injure herself before the start or at the starting gates?

Greg Cheyne on the original favorite and Keanen Steyn on a 50-1 first timer fighting out the second bipot place.
Only one winner there.
