Aldo banned for 10 days

INQUIRY – JOCKEY ALDO DOMEYER

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in the Stipendiary Stewards Boardroom at Kenilworth Racecourse on 5 November 2021, Jockey Aldo Domeyer was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7. The particulars being that as the rider of DANCETILDAYLIGHT he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference and was a source of interference to runners on his inside at the 50m, when he shifted in continually from the 150m in Race 7 at Kenilworth Racecourse on 30 October 2021.

Jockey Domeyer pleaded not guilty to the charge, but was found guilty as charged.

The Inquiry Board, after considering the video evidence, his riding record and mitigating factors, imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of ten (10) days.

Jockey Domeyer has the Right of Appeal against the finding and the penalty imposed.
