Horse Auction Alert!
A one of its kind Horses-in-Training Sale will be taking place in South Africa and in Mauritius simultaneously. The online auction allows for anyone to participate and buy into the action.
MGAS Bloodstock and Accelerated Auctioneers have joined in partnership and will host the inaugural South African horse sale in Mauritius. Gabriel Soma from MGAS Bloodstock will be in South Africa to oversee the sale whilst auctioneer and horseracing commentator Clyde Basel, will auction the lots from the MTC parade ring. “We very excited about this initiative, an all time first for Mauritian Owners and Trainers alike, as well South African Owners and Trainers to come together to use this platform to strengthen their current stock”, said both Basel and Soma.
MGAS Bloodstock have staged several horses-in-training sales on Accelerated Auctioneer’s platform with much success. An existing relationship with various Mauritian Owners and Trainers has created a fantastic relationship, one of integrity and trust! The sales company intends on expanding this to all parties and welcome everyone to join in on this exciting venture.
Entries close on Wednesday 24 November and the online auction sale will take place on Wednesday 1 December at 13:00 (SA time) and 15:00 (MA time).
Any further queries to enter your horses on the sale or to register to obtain a buyers card, please email info@acceleratedauctioneers.co.za
Owners and Trainers that would like to attend the sale on Wednesday 1 December in the Mauritius Turf Club parade ring, must please confirm attendance by emailing info@acceleratedauctioneers.co.za
P.S MGAS Bloodstock and Accelerated Auctioneers also focus on dispersal sales, dissolving partnerships and deceased estates.

What are the pros and cons
I understand there has been a few successful moves from sending or selling horses to Mauritius.
How does prize money compare?
They certainly have a strong betting ring and meetings are well attended.
Would appreciate any inputs
