Anton brings it home for the punters again , he is without doubt the greatest rider the world has ever seen :woohoo: :woohoo:
Unlike a certain overrated uk jock who is forever putting the punters in the bush

100 rides 1 winner, brilliant
It’s easy riding on the Golden Highway on arm chair rides compared to flying all over the world to ride in all the elite meetings.

A 47 year old Verulam-based father of one has made history by becoming the first player to bank the progressive jackpot prize in the popular free-to-enter Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge.
When Anton Marcus steered Evening Primrose to victory in the final race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday, Revash (his player name) banked R2 325 000 – his biggest win in a lifetime of playing the horses.

PUNTER WINS R2,325 MILLION IN HOLLYWOODBETS PUNTERS CHALLENGE
David Thiselton
Gareth van Zyl and Anton Marcus will be the toast of one happy punter tonight after the Flower Alley filly Evening Primrose won the last race at Hollywood bets Greyville today.
The punter, who entered the free competition as "Revash", selected seven out of eight winners on the card and his selection in the second race, Corner Crusade, was scratched meaning he got the favourite Crazy Blues which duly won.
He thus landed the progressive jackpot of R2, 325,000.
The competition has been running for over two years and although a few punters had gone as close as a nose to winning it nobody had ever landed the Jackpot until today.
Revash not only won the jackpot money but also played the all to come win bet for R1 which was originally 43361/1 but after the scratching ended up at 12388/1.
Hollywoodbets Brand and Communications manager Devin Heffer was thrilled somebody had finally landed the big Jackpot prize and said, "It's extremely exciting for Hollywoodbets that somebody has finally cracked it. It is an incredible feat to get eight from eight. A big well done to Revash for getting over the line. Anton Marcus made sure today for him and I am sure he is going to be celebrating a lot. It is a great reminder the Hollywoodbets Challenge is free to play and all one has to do to get involved is have a Hollywoodbets account. Punters are the life blood of racing and the life blood of our business and without them we wouldn't be where we are today."
About eight to ten thousand players take part in the Punters Challenge every meeting.
Hollywood syndicate inadvertently contributed to Revash's win as they had two winners on the day. Fittingly one of them, on the day it was announced Hollywoodbets had taken over the naming rights for Kings Park Rugby stadium, was Blackwhitedynamite.
