Our prized jewel ran a shocker. Backed from 5/1 into 3/1 then race time they were giving away 9/1 if only we knew the true fitness of these horses

Frodo so because I'm not a trainer or a jockey or a member of the NHA or a worker at the tote it means I don't have an opinion when it's plain to see how many problems we have with our racing?
So if you not a footballer or a manager or a electrician or a mechanic or a government official you have no right to complain or point out mistakes done by them?
Our racing superiors love people like you, just accept everything as it comes and let them carry on bleeding the industry and giving punters a bad experience.

It's telling us some of these horses are not being brought to the course in the condition we expect them to be in.
We on a hiding to nothing if a horse is not in shape, the form book is just no use.
We need some sort of trails like they do in HK so as not to let unfit horses race.

Ok I'll bite - it's not to say that one should not criticize - and I certainly do not just 'accept everything as it comes' it's just that (to me) you come across as being a know-it-all, and I know I should really just not read your comments - which I will do from now on

not speaking for Frodo but he knows very much about racing having owned one of the best 2yr olds of her generation and knows how difficult it is to win a race and how much corruption there really is in training yards(not really much at all) - He knows handicapping backwards and can read a race -
Mostly when horses run badly its their ability that we over-rate because of the trainer jockey and owner-- One thing you can take to the bank is that backing Favourites buy Bookies cars - they lose almost 70% of the time so no good reason to do that ...better to back the horse you think will win and not the horse the bookies are telling you to back especially in times like this where many horses have lost work because of the rain...
