Let's try again to get something back; Bold Resolve I'm ignoring his very poor past effort - has cheek pieces again and hopefully will finish in the money

I'll try to get the thread going...

Some to consider...according to my dartboard...

Race 1 - 1 Tuuletar
Race 7 - 8 Sister Light (a bit too short for a standalone bet so maybe just a race to watch)
Race 8 - 8 Diamonds n Dollars, 9 Flying First Class

All the best to fellow Clanners...

I did have a small bet at 14/1...:cheer: that's my petrol money for the month !! P.S. I work mainly at home !!:P

That's 3 pick 6 carryovers in a row now.
I got a feeling even more punters will stop punting on SA racing this year.
Results are not punter friendly most days.
At least we got the Australian punters punting on KZN racing now but once they see the quality and results on offer that too will look for greener pastures I'm sure.

You donโ€™t know Aussie punters. They will bet on anything at anytime of the day They have huge Chinese communities will punt. I used to spend my Saturdays in the TAB taking from 9 in the morning and if the day went ok until 8 at night taking in all the flat meetings from NZ then state by state. Having time zones in a country can be very good for the punter but also bad.

They are already punting into our pools and plenty other countries. An Australian punter caught the Summer Cup Quartet, collected around 500k .

Firstly,congrats to Elvis.
last time you said you were happy with the 5th place.

The infamous Aus punters!!!
towards Oct 21,i accessed the Punters live forum and witnessed SA expats tipping on all SA venues. The 1 guy was on flames, one in Nov-Friday PE he tipped a 14/1 Yeni horse for the Big guy.Horse started at 5/1.
The expats were barely keeping awake, but punting.
in the last week they were also complaing of the upset results.
Unfortunately that site closed its free access yesterday.

Those who want lottery type payouts must expect a lottery of results...

Just some suggestions some of which have been brought up previously, some not...

Allow couplings in the P6 and Jackpot so trainers cannot win with the "wrong" one that only a small group are privy to information about...
Re-introduce the consolation swinger that was once available with the coupling...
Amend the PA to be 4 places - 4th place counts as a place for stats but not for the PA...caters for favourites running 4th especially when there are scratchings...

More money returned to more punters means more churn likely and take-out can be reduced...will result in less R1 payouts - risk with no reward...
The punters that win a large payout are unlikely to return much of it to the pools...
