SA horseracing has seen an increase in bookmakers sponsoring various industry stakeholders. Is there a list available as to who they are sponsoring?

The funding sources of horseracing sponsorships have become incestuous to the industry. We have stud farms and bookmakers reploughing money into the industry. We have no new money. Surely it as all unsustainable. I understand the 2022 Durban July will be the last to be sponsored by Vodacom, after then, by whom? My money says HollywoodBets which is great for the short term but then what?

Let's be honest,SA racing is good for the bookies.
Bad horses mean inconsistent results and we have plenty of those horses especially in KZN where hollywood plough plenty money into.
More punts don't get landed than landed so I would think the bookies are doing good business and wouldn't want our racing to go under.
At least they are putting money back into the industry where so many have left and lost interest.

3 Dame Twining 3.03 2.27 2.50 2.00 1.82 1.67 1.52 1.43 1.33 1.11 1.00 1.11 1.25 1.33 1.43

Here is a prime example...
Stable gives it to everyone who would listen and it doesn't find a place and a 50-1 shot wins.
Yes it got squeezed at the start but that's SA racing for you, always excuses.

If one painted all horseracing money one would see this “yellow” money spinning inside the racing industry. One will also see some money being slingshot outside the circle, this would be the stable and admin money as trainers, grooms jockeys, stipes, tellers, maintenance, farmhands, etc, also need to satisfy their own wants and needs. One would also notice that there is no money entering from outside the circle due to punter and external sponsorship shrinkage. Over time one will see this “yellow” money becoming smaller and smaller and smaller. This “yellow” money will become even smaller than today.
