Scary card indeed - it starts with a nightmare of a race and finishes with a race where one needs the field to make sure you get the P6 - on the unlikely chance that you are still running by then - thoughts ....
R2: Looks like one of the easier races to find the winner - not a lot between Whafeef and About to Storm on their last meeting - for me I think About to Storm will get his revenge here; Val d'Orcia very capable but needs to give a lot of weight away, so I think he could be held, while Supreme Warrior has more to do, but could of course be good enough, while the filly What a Honey tries further, but could also feature if she stays
R3: Another race where finding the winner does not look that hard - if Whafeef and About to Storm run well in the 2nd, Bon Vivant should be right there; biggest danger for me is Elusive Current, who also looks very capable; Admire Me has a tougher task at the weights here, but could fight out 3rd with Hawker Typhoon, who comes off a very good last sprint in the Cape win; Ululate has won twice this track and trip and is a upset possibility
R4: Tough start to the P6 (which looks very hard to get right); Mike's Chick has been very disappointing since a rest, but has had 2 wins at this track before the break - is very capable at best and out of a Dynasty mare could be looking for this trip, so hard to ignore; best roughie for me is Illuminate, who loves this track and must have chance; Last Cheer another who is suited to this track and trip (2 wins out of 3 tries), while Aryaam looks very well weighted, and but for the form of the Tarry stable, would have been my first choice; all of the others seem to have some sort of chance
R5: Getting really competitive now; Keepingthepeace, Bella Swan (tries blinkers), Rabia the Rebel, Liverpool Legend and Three Hills would be my not-so-shortlist; but I don't think any of the others can safely be ignored
R6: Middle Stakes, so it seem a little less complicated; Flying Bull is my clear 1st choice after being beaten less than 2 lengths by Aragosta at this track (while giving weight away); Fire Flower as a mare is well treated here along with Castle Durrow, Phoenix (wide draw) and Bureau des Legende (last 2 efforts not great), so probably foolish to ignore them; Supreme Dance runs on from far back, so may have his work cut out at this track, but a strong pace (which there will probably be) will help - so another not to be ignored
R7: This is where many will be taking their chances with Aragosta, and he does seem the logical banker on a tough card; for me he only has to beat his stable mate Clafoutis
R8: Back to the handicaps and another open race; Goodtime Guy very good last win (taking advantage of a very mediocre ride on Red Saxon), so definite chance again; Ivalo's Prince big danger at this track, Ballon D'Or track suited, so could surprise, but again there are plenty of others who could feature
R9: I give up
Enjoy

Everyone in awe of Supreme Warrior - of course an impressive winner, but let's just remember that he received a whopping 9.5 kgs from Val d' Orcia - so on my ratings SW ran to 90 - and VD to 98 - so at level weights VD would be 8 points (4kgs) superior

And to add to this - Bon Vivant ran a quicker time than SW in the next race (same weight too considering Keagan was 0.5kg over).

Hands and heels. Almost.
If this were 1600m, would have won by 20 lengths…………….
