9 Show Time 25.00 20.00 16.67 10.00 7.14 6.25 5.56 6.25

An ex Flamingo Park trainer has to show us how to spot a first timer on the training track and collect big time.

He also said to Computaform " It might be green"

Punters are the fools again

Oh Shit....
Always some underhanded dealings with our racing.
They miss the winner then say after the race the always knew it was good,Robbie Hill and his first timer that went off at 40-1
And now they on purpose talk it down but always knew it would go close as in the interview they said the jockey thinks they all have to beat him.
That pretty much proves to us that we can't trust many in this industry.

Correct

Remember this was a trainer that moved to cpt and couldn’t have a win. If that’s the way they choose to be,life catches up. The owners slipped about the confidence, they landed the coup but the wheel turns.

I'm not sure what the message is Batman? All I'm going to say is well done to them, small stables need all the wins that they get. I hope the bookies felt this result.

This is one of those incidents where people will have different opinions - should connections get on the bandwagon and shout to all and sundry that they have a champion first-timer that will win first time out, or is it fair that they keep it close to their chest and take the odds offered thereby covering some of the purchase price and keep to date ?

I'm not too sure what the fuss is about; 'they' obviously had a first-timer that could run a bit - but there are many debutantes who do not reproduce their homework on the track - so I do not find too much wrong with the comment 'might be green' - let's face it this is not one of the 'high-flying' stables, so even if the comment 'might be green' was accurately reflected (who knows) or if the comment was 'might be green but shows very good work', it would not have had a big influence on the starting price imo; so the connections were aware that the horse shows good work and they backed (their own horse) with their own money - good for them.

Imo , it's not nearly the same as when a horse suddenly pops up to defy it's recent form

All I'll say is that, in my humble opinion, it's on a par with insider trading of shares...using not freely available information to obtain a material benefit...
