I think Fav. backers there were crapping themselves BIIIG time..... Bernie nearly caused the upset..... i'm happy with 11 / 10 a place kaching..:P :cheer:

Don't want to rain on your parade - but it paid R4.40 a place on the Tote :P

 :S :woohoo:  :woohoo: shiiiiiiit !

How would 4k affect that price? Any idea what the pool was on that for places? At 4.40 x 4k, I suspect quite a bit right? If it paid 4.40 nobody took it on the Tote I suspect.

He took first four places with the bookies. The tote only three places.

I'm going to give Izapha another chance - if repeating his penultimate run, he will be too good for these

Yep looking at the winner again, it was a pretty stupid selection from me, but last? Yes, I should have spent more time on the race but after fat cash in the 6th I could afford being a maverick in 7. Thing is these dudes play the ratings too... as soon as it drops rating or drawn beneficially, Frodo, you can take it with love. Grant van Niekerk wasn't interested as soon as it left the stalls. As punters we need to get that intent right. Watch the race again. And don't give up on it the win might be next. Either way, big payday and I have to disappear head down in UK cards for a while. See you soon.
