Pls note the Vaal Classic Track meeting scheduled for today has been moved to the Turffontein Inside Track following a further 14mm of rainfall there overnight (Vaal is waterlogged) which brings the total amount of rainfall at the Vaal to just over 100mm in the past 72 hours.
Turffontein received no rainfall overnight and after a gallop on the track this am, it was unanimously agreed that the track is soft but consistent and safe for racing.
Pls note the following distance changes :
Race 1 - 2600m
Race 5 - 2600m.
Race times remain as carded.
Voluntary scratchings close at 8am

can inside track handle 15 horses?
not sure how often Work riders go over 2600m in a race, so will be interesting to see how that race plays out.
