My colleague Sylvester once Leopauxld that Humble Tune was expecting a big run when down at Durban.
Woke up from a deep sleep to find a apatosaurus of 20/1. We set to go each way and embrace whatever comes our way.

Good morning does anyone have a weather update, have been getting negative vibes about the meeting since Thursday?
Might have to focus on Aintree......

Turffontein Update - 9 April
Turffontein recorded 8,5mm rain overnight and the going is currently good to soft (average pen reading 26). Racing goes ahead today.
There is a chance of further rain later, the worst of which is forecast this evening, tomorrow and beyond. So our best chance of racing is to go ahead as planned today.

Race 2 alarming drift on the favorite.
What are we not told that will be told after the race.

All I can tell you that in race 2 that Humble got the virus after his injury and the stable don't really like him in a tough race where fav is hard to beat.
We wanted to run in an easier race but did not make the draw. I thought it was worth a run in a small field to try and earn a cheque rather than sit in the stable.
I have taken a small bet and hope for an improved run.🤞
Good Punting

I doubt that we will see the last few races, so maybe an idea to take a couple of bankers in the P6 late on
R1: Rimaah looks a pointer in this field
R2: Seemingly a drift about the favorite that is clearly the one to beat at the weights - so who knows; perhaps the stable mate is the right one ?
R3: Competitive little field where Insatiable has won this track and trip in the soft, so worthy favorite imo; Ice Eater looks well weighted and could be running on into 2nd
R4: Tricky contest imo; I'm not ignoring Spanish Boy
R5: Everything points to Freed From Desire as Celestial Love has never run well in the wet; Thumbs Up course and distance specialist and could be 2nd best
R6: Very open - I'm going wide
R7: Dawn of a New Era overdue and looks well in here; King Arthur 2nd best even though the stable is having a few issues
R8: Very open as per the betting - take your pick
R9: Looks a Peter benefit, and at the odds I prefer Secret is Ours from Naval Guard
Enjoy
