Over the last few days Hollywoodbets have not been paying out withdrawals.
They are making all kinds of excuses,should you be lucky enough to get hold of them through any of their contact channels.Their Facebook change has lists of comments with people complaining and even now pleading.
This is most concerning.
Does anyone know whats going on?

I have no reason to defend Hollywood, but i have seen the comments on Social media and if i was Hollywood i would stop spending millions on advertising there just to receive so much vile abuse.
HW are most likely just overwhelmed (busy), and paygates have been down all weekend, also staffing will have been an issue in KZN
ps the people passing false rumours about them being in bad nick financially are disillusion
Yes ,but what is concerining that suddenly their payouts are not being done.
I requested a withdrawal 8am on Monday 11 April.
I have had various conversations,both telephonicanically and live chat, with all kinds of excuses which I have recorded and would be happy to share.
I have been with them for over 10 years and had excellent service,so I am sure anyone would be concerned.
Still no contact and no payment.
Your withdrawal has been processed and should be in your account shortly.
I have also asked the withdrawals team to contact you to confirm that it has been done.
If you are recording a conversation that you are party to, I believe that such a recording is not unlawful, irrespective of whether you have informed the party(ies) that they were being recorded. There are several exceptions to the RICA Act that would allow for a recording without consent, including:
- Where you are a party to the communication;
- Where you have received the written consent from one of the parties to the communication; or
- Where the recording has been made for purposes of carrying on of business.
The right to Privacy as contained in section 14 of the Constitution are limited as provided in section 36 and are not absolute -
'limitation must be reasonable and justifiable in an open and democratic society based on human dignity, equality and freedom'

Apologies to anyone who might feel offended because I stated facts and have proof thereof.
As a owner,breeder and punter I too appreciate what Hollywoodbets is doing for SA racing.
However,it is still concerning that the the agents answering Hollywoodbets live chat and helpline are extremely rude obviously due to them being flooded with concerned punters probably(and hopefully) are not aware of the reasons for the delay in payments.
I do realise the magnitude of Hollywoodbets in this industry,but if paying out winning bets is not a priority for them due to circumstances they should advise their future and existing clients of these circumstances .
Mr Brogan ,mighty men ,companies and organistions have fallen in the past.
I hope that Hollywood attends to all the smaller punters who would accept at least a sensible explanation as to what the delay is.
