Was she not on her way to the USA?...either way unless she improves I doubt she would beat the Cape horses who look to be the pick so far

Nothing wrong with Safe Passage. Cape horses not a given....yet.
MDK knows how to train a July winner.
I fancy Zapitillas but scared of Safe Passage and Universal.

Early days of course and I am not as bullish on anything at the current odds - last year I preached Sovereign Spirit as top 6 value and was not disappointed; this year I think Second Base at current odds fits that bill; Hoedspruit will come in at exactly the correct weight at 53 kgs and at 20s second best value for me; Linebacker of the favorites is set to get 1,5 kgs from Kommetdieding so could easily turn the tables this time; best 3yr old at the weights imo Safe Passage from Double Superlative

In an article on the Tabgold website, Kannemeyer, stated that he will enter a horse called Silvano's Timer. He last ran in the Cape Guineas to Russian Rock. It will be interesting to follow him during the Winter season. He is also entering, Waterberry Lane who was gelded after the Cape Guineas. Cosmic Highway maybe considered.

Sometimes you can find value in horses to place in the 1st four or six as stated by Frodo.
