This has got to be one of the most pathetic media releases from 4Q Racing. This media release is nothing short of a disgrace, 4Q Racing.

Savage, Callister and Fundi are clearly out of their depths. You are not telling us why you did not have a carryover at the start of the KZN season that had the highest rated 3 year old in the country running and the highest rated old horse, Jet Dark!!!!!!!!!!! You waffle on about promises yet you cannot account for the stuff-up (again) this weekend.

You confirm that you have tons of carryover reserves at your disposal but all three of you fell asleep on the job. Are you still trying to figure out why your turnover is down or who the customer is? Not one of you three are cut out for the task at hand.

Scottsville Sprint Day, 4 June 2022, is the only day that we race in this country, South Africa, (not to be confused with the other planet that you operate from) WHERE WE HAVE 4 GROUP ONE’S. No mention in your media release of a carryover YET AGAIN.

Is 4Q trying to sabotage Hollywoodbets/Gold Circle’s KZN season.

Fundi, it’s not too late to jump ship – Savage has chosen you to be the fall guy.

I understand that Nairac is very progressive with that BEE and transformation thing. Apparently he has implemented a work skills plan that has been approved by Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), the vocational skills training organization in South Africa. Gold Circle can train you Fundi and they get an incentive from SARS and SETA, at no cost to the horseracing industry. Savage and Callister cannot help your cause.

FUNDI, You could make history in SA as the first CEO to be registered and qualify for SETA’s learnership incentive.

I believe carryovers should be returned to the course or, at least the province, from where the carryovers emanated. Kimberley used to feed other provinces’ carryovers from its own meagre pools which was wrong.

I agree - any C/O should be added to the first meeting of the month in the province it emanated from -

Despite numerous calls from punters over the years for checks and balances on the carryovers, none has been forthcoming. This then indicates that not all the money is returned to pools its as simple as that. A further issue highlighted repeatedly by Hilton Witz is the issue of interest earned and who the beneficiary is. 4Q have had a magnificent opportunity to display transparency and have passed this on and are proving to be no better than the thieves and scoundrels before them.

Why fix what was never broken? Carryovers should be utilised at the following meeting at the same track that they occurred on. This money belongs to punters not the marketing department ( if such thing exists ) of 4Q
