Just heard that one of the KR directors has resigned already. An emergency meeting of the KR Board is currently underway as the shit has hit the fan and reality is setting in. The resignation is the least of their problems.

Expect a press release from KR Board shortly.

I did see an article on the post with them claiming to see a leaked letter from the NHA

"Kenilworth Racing Pty Ltd to show evidence of its financial viability and sustainability in advance of the consideration of the renewal of the company’s Operator’s Licence"

So maybe there has been action tonight

Anyway, it dawned on me after a few drinks yesterday evening and after listening to the masterpiece that Titch posted, that I have to agree with Savage that 4Q and the Trust benefactor is THE BEST AND ONLY PARTNER FOR KR. They walk away from nothing.

Given where KR finds itself, they need OUT THE BOX THINKING, like the glass is half full or half empty or is it the grass is half full....... (who better than an expert like a fundi to guide us on this jibber jabber).

The KR Board can easily secure a couple of hundred million loan from from 4Q (from that bottomless pit of capital, not to throw at things) which can take them out of the sticky situation they find themselves in with the NHA. Just negotiate say a 50/100 year repayment holiday with Savage and make sure the term of the loan is FOREVER and your could possibly ask Savage for your repayments to commence say 300 years before Forever!!!

These timelines above for most mortals, including myself, is beyond comprehension, but not for 4Q.

But problem solved.... and 4Q partners with KR FOREVER

I have absolutely no doubt that Robert B is involved in this somewhere, somehow - either directly or as a result of the what has transpired from the last week of back and forth.

Lest we forget how KR unceremoniously and humiliatingly dumped him from the Board the minute Savage and Co pitched tent. This was a direct personal attack on him in response to the failed GC attempt a couple of years earlier - which Robert seemingly had a lot to do with.

To me this evidently seems like the decider in the trilogy and from where I'm standing, it's firmly 2 - 1 to the Ringer.

Love him or hate him, there IS nobody more experienced or passionately invested in the survival of this industry than Robert - nor is there anybody who enjoys a fight more than him.

Ultimately - KR's biggest mistake was underestimating that when you do him harm - you better know you've poked the wrong bear.

Sad thing which intrigues me is that nobody managing racing in SA ever takes accountability. If it’s not working then take accountability and move on to something else. It seems to be an industry run by committees who always point their finger at someone else who is to blame.

Somebody please stand up and take the blame as to why these things are all wrong.

Your product you have been ‘given’ is great but not managed well. Presenting endless strategies and plans you wasting your time. Stop blaming punters for the plummeting tote turnover and thank owners for keeping the industry going.

It is impossible to watch a horse you own race on your mobile phone unless you on Wi-Fi so I see no point in owning horses anymore to be honest.

Please someone start making things happen. Upgrade the infrastructure that brings in the money and keeps owners alive in the industry and the punters betting PLEASE!

I have a solution for cape and 4RACING,this advice is free, if i were in charge I would get SANTA to act on obtaining their 300 signatures very quickly that way you can overturn the NHA board and renew the Cape's,i would also put Charles Savage in as chairman of the board and sir Mike De Kock as CEO Stephen Watson as head of communications and Jehan Malherbe who seemingly was the advisor to all and sundry as the advisor to the board on the way forward, that way we can remove Moodley and Hyde and all those people standing in their way.To get 300 signatures is easy you hire Grant Knowles to do that and you'll have it in 48 hours.

@Methinks,

I am 100% supportive of your suggestion.

The only problem is the way Susan Rowett bitch-slapped SANTA leadership, SANTA actually disintegrated. The thunder from Rowett's klap is still ringing in the christmassy boys ears. Good luck Grant - your biggest challenge here is to locate the SANTA leadership and convincing them to add their signatures to a page without you mentioning NHA. The SANTA boys are still having nightmares and major sleep deprivation from their last encounter with Rowett.
