Sierra Nevada Wins And Runs Eight In The Same Race

They had an article the other day that horses with the same name might run in the same race. Well it did materialize. Sierra Nevada the USA bred won and its namesake ran eight bred in Great Britain. The reason was they are foaled in different countries hence the same name. The winner was by American Pharaoh.

We once had something similar here in SA. Two Albert Hall’s, one UK bred the other local, not sure if they ever did meet in a common race.
