It seems like a virus so I wonder why he did not scratch all his runners and if it is a virus has it spread to other yards?...

From Ascot thread .....

I will end with some Humble news .
Before we watch Ascot, Humble Tune is making another race track appearance and sorry it's been a bad year for the followers and trust me, it's been worse for the owners and we are close to cutting our losses if he shows no more improvement.
Saying that I will again have an ew at 16/1 because if we look at the fav Secret is Ours at 33/10 it beat Humble by 3.5L however we had a terrible draw and we have a couple of Kilos in hand.
Aware our jock has jumped ship but I will take a garage pie and coke that Kabelo is on the better one ☺

I think he is place value ...has run best races at 71-72 range- ready now

A difficult card from R5 onwards ; Tinder Dry in the 5th (7/1) and Jaimala in the 6th (9/1) look good value; and maybe the roughie Moonstrike (20/1) in the 7th

My software ratings of yesterday at GRP threw up a R49 exacta in Race 3 from the top 3 boxed (I roved the 7 with the other two). And in race 4, the 2nd ranked #13 (a total 40-1 outsider) returned R11.80 the place for running second!

Here are today's software ratings for Vaal. The myriad scratchings don't help but it is what it is! The categories are:

I have asterisked the top rated and top power horses.
