Kommetdieding, Belgarion, Do It Again – the last three winners of the Hollywoodbets Durban July, all entered to go head-to-head in the 2022 edition of Africa’s greatest race. It’s a unique, intriguing poser – full of history-making opportunities. If Kommetdieding wins again this year, he’s among the rare company of back-to-back winners. Kommetdieding, Linebacker, and Jet Dark are the highest rated 4-year olds among this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July entries – established stars of South African horseracing that have written their names on a formidable list of Grade 1 trophies. A winner of this race at 3 last year, Kommetdieding now comes back for his second bite at glory … as a 4-year old.
