HOT πŸ”₯ weekend punts

Good morning all from a very busy site with hot tips, hot topics and an even a hotter weekend forecast for our friends in the Northern Hemisphere.

All the Hot fancied runners arrived on the UK thread yesterday and our local fancy EYJAFJALLAJOKULL named after a volcano in Iceland, also won well.
I did suggest to the owner and a request from Ali that "A Horse With No Name" would be a better option.

I guess we should have already had a good profit with the hotties πŸ”₯ arriving but being a greedy punter I added the All Black's and Boks to increase the odds.

The Northern Hemisphere lads were over the moon with last week's results and are worried about their heatwave this weekend.
This weekend results should cool them down.
I am fairly confident that the All Black's and Boks should win and the half time /full time bet should secure a nice double.
The Aussie vs Poms game is a hard call with slight preference to Australia but even a draw at 25/1 might be worth a punt.
I feel the bookies have the wrong price with the Argentina vs Scotland game.
They have the Pumas as favs but the Jocks must be worth a punt and also consider the half time /full time at around 2/1 ish.

Plenty of local and overseas racing this weekend and the highlight should be Emily Upjohn taking the Irish Oaks after her unlucky run in the English Oaks.

We have some great additions to the daily selection post with trainers video links from 4Racing.

We have an update on the Hollywood/Bortz Cape take over from Clocking the Gallop.

Plus plenty more hot topics ........

Good Punting

It’s been raining the whole morning, so much for Dark Sky and its forecasts

Where else? A couple of miles away north south east and west it’s sunny. The rain loves the village where I live

Racing Post

Five race meetings in Britain on Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled because of the forecast for extreme high temperatures.

Monday’s fixtures at Beverley and Windsor will not go ahead and neither will Tuesday’s at Chelmsford, Southwell and Wolverhampton after the BHA yesterday took the decision to call off the cards after the Met Office issued a red weather warning for extreme heat for the first time.

Record temperatures of up to 40C are forecast on Monday and Tuesday with Britain remaining in the grip of a prolonged spell of hot and dry weather, prompting the Met Office to issue the red weather warning for large parts of central, northern, eastern and south-eastern England.
