Only 3 horses in single figures and all miss the PA
21 000 of the 25 000 PA tickets where on those three
Everyone has different ways of studying form or trying to find the lurkers. The day when Humble Tune ran second if it won everyone should have been happy for Dave although it was 50/1. Not a question about its form would have been asked.
In this race the second place horse is a Stakes winner and shows pace if you looked at its previous runs. The third placed horse also showed pace and had an apprentice allowance. With the draw Warship had to drop out and run on and had Gauteng form. That left Petra and All Of Me with the latter a Gauteng horse and multiple winner.
The pace had to be on and something to run on and it did.
