Tamarisk Tree gets his second win after blowing out in the betting. Beat horses rated 106 and 108 and was out at the weights. Maybe could be better than we think....

Not better than Brandon the champ thought.

Note to Brandon - You NEVER have to apologize for cutting off that pointless banter on track to commentate on any race that is about to run, as you apologized for commentating on Mauritius race. Punters thank you.

Brandon and his cheerleaders need to watch the re-run of:

Mauritius Race 7 – Horses involved in the last 100m to the finish - Sand Park and Coppenhagen

Mauritius Race 8 - Horses involved in the last 100m to the finish – John Hancock and Captain Flynt

Flamingo Park version 2.78999 which is on par with Flamingo Park version 1.

The day we stop celebrating BEE cheerleaders /puppets, mediocrity and just plain uselessness is the day we make a turnaround as a country.

PS. I have no financial interest nor any bets in Mauritius today.

Not defending anyone, and never watched todays racing.

But Mauritius racing is the hardest track on the planet to commentate from a tv screen

Saint T. I have been hard on Brandon as well, and I understand your cheerleader comment, which you're more than entitled to.
It is clear, however, that certain people will choose to ignore the 99% excellent, and focus on the 1% error, and nit pick that. The fact is, the majority of the others on TV are not even worth talking about, let alone having a topic about them, and as with everything in life, you will always get your detractors. The fact that Brandon is noteworthy enough to have people like you and I discuss him on a forum, should tell you that we should appreciate having Brandon on screen before he gets an offer overseas and is gone, and I will stand by that. If you are going to be hard on Brandon, then by all means do so, but you cannot compare him to someone whose only job is to commentate, or sit silent on studio as some others do and fly under the radar.
PS. This topic started out intending to applaud having Brandon on track, and I don't know him, nor does he know me, so this is not me standing up for my mate.

What I like about Cecil is he never tries to promote runners with the intention of getting a punter to bet on it.
And getting their fingers burnt.

I personally think Brandon does a great job.
I find race commentary is a special gift especially from a screen.
He is an all rounder and I enjoy his enthusiasm for the game .

Good Punting 👍
