Oom Jimmy says he thinks there has been team tactics, if true the event should be cancelled

Team tactics? Those *** think punters are having a bet for them to have team tactics for their little game. This concept must go.

I agree with James on this one and the Stipes should be wide awake under these conditions.

If the trainer wants the horse to go to the front but the 'team' decides they want that particular horse to be behind another one of theirs which instructions does the jockey follow?
It's a team jockey event not a team trainer event.

All I will say is having watched the races last week, you could tell that it was very different to normal races, so I don't think James is far off the mark here.

Jockeys got to ride to trainers instructions surely.
They would be compromising their future rides with the trainer otherwise.
I can't see how team tactics could come into it.
It's just the same old crap racing from KZN and some trying to find excuses for the inconsistent horses, rides and results.

If we go on this then I think most trainers instructions are to miss the break or to sit three wide.
It's funny how when the money is down after a horse has been given enough crap runs to get the correct price, then the jockeys seem to ride the perfect race.

You probably right Thor, well the results vindicate that.
No trainer has ever come on here and tried to explain why KZN racing throws up terribly inconsistent results and rides.
Last 10 or so years KZN has been going backwards rapidly as seen by the very few feature race winners they have but a few well placed punts can still keep them in business.
All until the punter is fed up and gives up on KZN all together.
