Race (1)
Helen’s Legacy if overcoming the draw will be a runner here. Wat the betting on the first timer, Red Sash.
Race (2)
Snaith holds the key to the race with three of the six runners coming from his stable. Probably have a line on Body Electric beaten by Pacific Green last time, not that Body Electric cannot win this. Cattealeya can’t be ignore if the going comes up soft to heavy. Of the Snaith runners, think Ciao Bella is the right one, however the form following the debut win hasn’t really worked out, only been one winner since. Gun to head, Body Electric to win this.
Race (3)
Difficult, watch the betting.
Race (4)
But for the draw, Hawk Circle would be a confident first choice. Based on the draws, then Allez Moris is the one to beat. Having said that, the Allez Moris collateral form is not good. Conversely, the third and fifth placed finishers behind Hawk Circle, last time out, have come out and won. See Hawk Circle is the weak 33/10 favourite, will row in with this one.
Race (5)
Un-usually big field with most being relatively unexposed, watch the betting, marginal choice, Happy Chance.
Race (6)
Innamorare should appreciate the step up in trip, Le Morne is the danger.
Race (7)
At My Command, if not in need of the run should be involved in the finish. Looks open to any amount of improvement. Hoping Kimball O’Hara, from a wide draw ensures a decent pace.
Race (
Silver Garbo from the draw the one to be with. Call Me The Breeze (love the Lynyrd Skynyrd (One More From The Road) live version of this song, for guitar heads) hasn’t beaten much and the collateral form shows that.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 8: Classified Stakes 1250m
Another race where I’m going for the 3 yr olds.
#1 SILVER GARBO (18-10) was very green on debut when comfortably beaten by #4. There are big weight swings against her on that run too, so it does temper my confidence. However, I really liked the way this filly quickened late last time and the form of that race is working out really well. She is going to want further, but I think there’s plenty more to come from her and I expect her to win this D Division despite having to concede weight to the field. #6 PHILISOPHISE (6-1) probably just needed her last run after 5 months off the track. She’d previously finished close-up in the Grade 3 Nursery, so in receipt of 2kgs from the Fav she’s the danger.
#8 LADY SILVANO (5-2) was a comfortable winner of her maiden. However, there was very little form to speak of in that field besides the 4-10 Fav who she beat into 2nd and the formline is weak. She’s a tall, leggy filly too and I’ll think she’ll find this trip on a good track too quick for her so I’M AGAINST HER.
SELECTION: 1 from 6

Sunny day, fresh southerly wind, course should run fast.
Race 1 While I am somewhat biased as her breeder, I think that Helen's Legacy can overcome the draw and win this. She showed good speed at both her starts, and could get away from them if she jumps smartly. Of the raced runners, Wayward Girl, St Kitts and Country Time look the dangers, although first timer Red Sash has been priced up joint favourite.
Race 2 Kwinta's Light is weighted to win this if fit and there were positive comments from the trainer as to her wellbeing.
Race 3 There are not too many with ratings in the handicap, so of the raced runners Charlie Crocker and Cannatonic look the right ones. Support for first timer Love In Winter must be respected. Outsiders to consider are Wylie Jack, Flower Pecker, Fort Apache and Cosmic Event if looking for an upset.
race 4 Spirit of Silvano drops back in trip but if fit is the one to beat. A few improving 3yos that must be respected- Contiguous, Allez Moris, Last Storm, Hawk Circle.
Race 5 Happy Chance and Love Rules look the right two. There are a few others with chances but some tricky races later on so I'll go short here. Our filly Lady Renee will enjoy the step up in trip and she did not seem to enjoy the soft going her first two starts. A poor draw to overcome, and I will be happy to see her running on and showing improvement.
race 6 While the 3 yos Le Morne and Innamorare look destined for bigger things, the roughie Demelza is well in at the weights and looks a value place bet. Colloidal Gold is a decent sort but has to lump a big weight.
Race 7 A very competitive race, and I'm in the camp of the consistent Gaudis Masterpiece.
Race 8 I make this a 3 cornered contest between Silver Garbo, Philosophise and Lady Silvano, with Philosophise the value ew play.

Hello Everyone
If someone in this forum can clear a few doubts that I have in today's card (Computaform) for Tuesday 13th September 2022 (Hollywood bets Durbanville).
1) There is a dollar sign after the name of the horses in pink colour (examples being 1-3 St Kitts, 1-8 Helen's Legacy, 1-11 Venus De Milo, 2-4 Body Electric, 2-6 Cattaleya, 3-10 Cosmic Event and many others), does that indicate a late entry fee paid or something else?.
2) Against the course name for Kenilworth (KEN) there is a small letter o like KENo (Examples being 1-2 Wayward Girl, 2-1 Ciao Bella, 2-1 Pucallpa, 4-1 Scallywag and many others as well), tried to figure if that meant summer course or winter course (old course) but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Many thanks in advance.
Warm Regards

I have been reading Warren's blog the past couple of weeks, and I must commend his succinct analysis and the homework that he puts in.
By contrast, I find the video podcasts generally too long and time consuming.
