Suffice to say that what's happening at the start of race 2 can only be described as a circus. Presenters and the commentator didn't have a clue what was happening. Lack of or no communication from the starter?
First it was a guess that the farrier was working on the horse. Then it was the blinkers, then the saddle and finally scratched by the vet.
The 2 presenters, none the wiser and surely frustrated from the lack of communication, just plays it down and carries on discussing the upcoming P6.......WOW :S

R2. Thanks for replay Bob. I was driving & listened to the commentary.
The horse I backed, GREEK MAFIA, 3rd favourite in a 5 (five) horse field was never mentioned in the commentary. Not once.
I naturally assumed it had also been scratched.

Good Afternoon Uncle Bob😊. Sorry to hassle you. Please will you post the following reply for Tony T.
Hi Tony T. Just an explanation as to what happened in Race 2. Everything froze up in the commentary box and for a few strides I still had to make sure there was audio going out because everything had switched off due to the power failure. Scratchings were also coming through at the time so it all just threw me out. My sincere apologies for the commentary, I really hope that you understand. Have a super afternoon Tony T.
Kind Regards
Brandon

Durbs, I am not & never been an ARM but I did back ALASKAN FATE EW. I was told that it has a winning chance etc etc etc etc
Look at the payouts
19.10 a win. I took 40/1
4.10 a place. I took 6.5/1
exacta, trifecta, double P3 all paid well short.
Make no mistake, some punters in the know, climbed in.
My bets had no effect on the tab payouts.
