My guess is that Striker's best chance is in the 8th with Kotinos - but maybe not today for that milestone. Still no rain to speak of and apparently still no grass at Randjies - so guesswork continues - thoughts:
R1: Not a race I'm getting involved in, but the favorite Sylvan Theater (half-sister So Flawless better over further) - should improve to go close in this field - except if one of the first-timers is better than average
R2: Trappy Maiden for the females; Tiz Magic finding support in the market, while stable mate Midnight Crystal (although out of a Galileo mare, ran close enough to the unbeaten Captain Peg over 1200 to be taken seriously) - both Tarry inmates have nice draws, so should be thereabouts; debutante Time for Charity also drawn well and finding market support; Solo Diva ran 2nd on her debut, but that does not look like strong form - still can only improve; Smelting has been trying forever (36th attempt today) but place chance again - with the allowance will probably make them come and catch her; then we have Lunar Winter, who could also pop up, but the draw has not done her any favors - I'm loading up in the BP
R3: Graduation Plate, but the 3yr old ratings are still all over the place; Tsar Bomba made quite an impressive debut over track and trip, and although not well in on official ratings, rates the one to beat imo - especially from pole position; Union Square tries blinkers, but from a wide draw does not have it easy; Swing Upon a Star drifting in the market, so indications are he will need this; 4 yr-old filly Moonshiningthrough seems to have earned her rating and from a neat draw should be thereabouts; Mover and Shaker seems to be a sprinter, so over this trip can also feature with Strike a Match
R4: F&M Handicap - not a lot to choose between the top 4, while both Dark Travel and Striker's mount Opera Glass are weighted to finish right on top of Terra Time - not the worst idea to go F in the P6 if one can afford it
R5: Pinnacle Stakes, where a few are making there seasonal debuts - I'm taking a chance that the Tarry runners are up against it - starting point for both and the 1800 not their best distance; nothing between Imperial Ruby, Bold Fortune and Second Base - I have a slight preference for SB today as he should show most improvement - those are the 3
R6: Impossible to choose imo - I'm definitely going F in the P6; my BP guesses are Sun Bird, Fasinada and the 2 roughies Blue Eruption (on her form behind Raratonga Rose) as well as Time for That (seems to run well for JP and has Fasinada stone cold on some of those runs)
R7: Handicap, and again I'm taking the stance that the Tarry runners will need it - but both Willow Express and Indlamu may threaten; I do like both Another Level and Whafeef (has Outofthedarkness stone cold at the weights); Sound of Summer reported to show no interest in running last time - but from a neat draw, is probably worth another chance
R8: Question here is can Vanderbilt keep his form in the new stable - I'm sitting on the fence and thus are covering with a few; Clarkson has turned over a new leaf since the fitting of blinkers, and not even an 8 point rise is likely to stop him from going close; Argo Alley has impressive form as a juvenile, so has to be considered as well, while Kotinos won the last time that Striker was on top, so not to be ignored; then Whispers of War after 2 close seconds recently, needs inclusion as well
R9: Meridius being supported as if the result is in the frame; he was beaten by both Destiny of Souls and Mo Jive in the Maidens, but pole position should prove enough advantage for him to turn the tables - especially as both rivals have had disappointing runs when making their seasonal debuts; Destiny of Souls has a tongue-tie fitted after making a respiratory noise last time, but from a 9 draw has his work cut out imo; so even though I think the odds on M is too short, I think he will win and taking a chance bankering him in the P6
Enjoy

Picture quality from Turffontein is terrible, same issue as last week.
Frame grabbing, can the techs not sort this out freaking irritating!!!
