Fix SA and make a profit in this Melting Pot

Good morning Clan and hope you are looking forward to a dry weekend 🤞

I mean as far as the weather and not JWB 🥃

With all these conferences, question and answer seminars, enquiries, commissions etc.
I thought I would give my views on how to solve our Melting Pot in SA

Bring back the "death penalty" to stop the violent crimes as our Judiciary system is a shocker.
Options of the top of my head (decapitation) is rather messy.
Stoning is rather old fashioned and a bit Monty Pythonish.
Gas is expensive but good during load shedding.
Hanging also a bit messy but could bring crowds back to Church Square for a Sunday market.
Shooting could work with the excess of illegal firearms available.
Electric chair is a concern with load shedding and is erratic, a bus operator who killed 3 passengers was given the chair 3 times and was set free as it failed! I understand he was just a bad conductor. 🤯
Lethal injection is certainly the best option and also makes way for the option to euthanasia.

The second suggestion would be to "relax" on "BEE" policies.
Although I was in support of the original thought process however any system that prioritizes colour over skill was never going to be the best long term solution and has not worked.
Any company has the right to make a profit and this cannot be achieved by having excessive, non productive staff.
By allowing businesses to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible will naturally create wealth and growth and encourage more overseas investments without completing check lists.

Short term solution is to make a profit this weekend until the above is resolved.

We really have many options and only the weather can spoil a winning return.

Many ATCs to consider but my early bet was

DESERT MIRACLE
JET DARK
FLIGHTLINE

@7/2

Plus we have many other options, you be the judge. Add and delete to suit.

Tonight States:

Cave Rock 7/10 Goes for 4 in a row for Bob Baffert
Silver Knott 13/10 Well bred Buick and Appleby.

Saturday local:

Sea Anemone 1/1 How good ?
Quantum Theory 7/10
Meridius is drifting ?
Sparkling Water might not be ready 7/2

Saturday States:

Golden Pal is a flying machine 2/1
Nashwa for Holly 16/10
Jackie's Warrior 9/10

Plenty options fill your 👢 👢

Getting back to the Melting Pot a one hit wonder but a bit of a classic for its time

Good Punting

Pls note , Turffontein Pen reading at 6:30am was 25.
Since then we have had 5mm of rainfall and it’s still currently raining.
Further rainfall is predicted throughout the day and a decision as to whether we go ahead tomorrow or postpone until Sunday will be made around 4pm this afternoon.

Bad start 😪

Giga Kick only 3 years old already taking on older horses in a Grade 1 event.

In Australia, 3yo Classic races have already commenced inculding Derby and Oaks races while we wait till December. I think even their 2yo races has started.
