.....a bit optimistic here as we have had a lot of rain throughout the night and much more expected today.....so if racing goes ahead tomorrow then the new drainage system would have been worth it.....

Paraphrasing JOE SOMA:
4Racing cured me of my lifelong sickness and addiction to racing.
Field sizes are smaller than Borrowdale, however they do rival the Ngong fixtures - move today’s card to a Sunday to alternate with Ngong every fortnight.

.....duck weather....p!ssing down again from 5 AM after a few hours break last night.....better not to knock the field sizes as there will be no track work for many days to come....and those who trekked to Cape Town must be pleased that they will still get some action....but not phased if today is called off as we have a 4hr+ power outage from 2pm.....and no Dundalk last night kept the powder dry.....will wait for the week end then....

Race 2, No 3 Duellona is my early play for the day. Even before the track got changed to the Vaal I thought it looked good with great rumors. But after the track got changed to the Vaal, like it even more as Spies does alot of work there. The 2.5kg sex allowance is smart thinking and the 2 colts at the top the betting may battle to catch her, very fast filly and over 800m, I don't think she can be caught. I'm sure she will jump favorite at the gates with the money pouring I'm late.
