......racing today at my new favorite local venue....Race 1 the regular 1st timer affair but packed with nicely bred sorts...making it difficult for an on the nose stab.....and before seeing the betting my ped pics landed up at the top of the boards...
....so finding value here is tricky.....one cannot leave any Bortz horse out as his strike rate of late has greatly increased and he seems to have a winner or 2 per meeting... but may be up against other nice types like the well named Honshu.... bred at Highlands but bought by Mrs Slack whose shrewd advisors are ace at spotting above average horse flesh....and this has a very nice ped pic as is that of Dumbledore and Kyomai....

2 years 5 months ago....it would be remiss of me not to mention the the Lancaster Bomber here too may have a squeak....would venture to say he may top the freshman sire contest although he is no more....as he found some interesting mares with Mr P close up ....and an internationally proven Danzig rich sire affinity... and he is already off the mark here with that very same cross....also closely contesting that freshman contest is Wilgebosdrift's Danon Platina and the other War Front son, Fire Away...........racing today at my new favorite local venue....Race 1 the regular 1st timer affair but packed with nicely bred sorts...making it difficult for an on the nose stab.....and before seeing the betting my ped pics landed up at the top of the boards.......so finding value here is tricky.....one cannot leave any Bortz horse out as his strike rate of late has greatly increased and he seems to have a winner or 2 per meeting... but may be up against other nice types like the well named Honshu.... bred at Highlands but bought by Mrs Slack whose shrewd advisors are ace at spotting above average horse flesh....and this has a very nice ped pic as is that of Dumbledore and Kyomai....

.....well now almost all have a squeak according to most trainers.....but Dennis Drier does not mince his words and would not be racing a 2nd string in the Cape....

Firstly Dumbledore is my best bet. Today will tell how special this horse is. Hoping he makes one of the races on Kings plate day.
