The Kings Plate is a Win and You in race for the Breeders Cup 2023 at Santa Anita. If it does win maybe Charles Dickens should take it chance plus the travelling cost is subsidised.

So if he beats Jet Dark, Kommetdieding etc at WFA in the Kings Plate, then why would he have no chance against the same opposition on the same WFA terms in the Met???The only question mark would be going the trip for the first time, but his full siblings while lacking his brilliance, do get the trip.

The connections will no doubt do what is best for the long term for this remarkable horse. He is still amongst the official entries, and they only need to make a final call on 19th January. Full marks to the trainer for informing the public at this early stage that he is a doubtful runner for the Met.
