Thoughts on a Sunday morning.

It's a beautiful day in Joburg as we wake up to another extended power outage.

We have no idea how long this current situation will continue and the long term irreparable damage it has caused.

Protest and prayers 🙏 will probably have little effect until the source problem is removed.
Which is also unlikely.

The website forum has been on the go for over 13 years and we have had some highs and lows but it's been worth the effort to exchange ideas and share passionate views over the years.

I was listening to an interesting interview with the late great David Bowie over 20 years ago on how massive the internet potential would be



Another thought was how freedom of speech vs censorship has been over the years and I really enjoyed the below views of the superb comedian Rowas Aitkison.

We had 4 from 5 selection on our UK thread yesterday but have no doubt if you take the Sunday double it will pay for lunch

The very same can be said of blockchain and smart contract / NFT's Dave. Blockchain is going to be the underlying tech for almost every industry going forward, finance, legal, intellectual property ownership etc.
