Why Is A 2 Year Old Race Carded As Race Number 6 On Met Day

This is a very diabolical decision to have a 2yo race to be race number 6 on Met Day. This will form part of a leg of all our major exotics.

In my opinion it is too early in the 2yo season for this race to be in the middle of the card. Should have been race 1 or race 2.

......you have to understand that Cape Racing is only trying to showcase the incentives that they have for younger horses and by putting these races up on big race days and into the spotlight of the exotics to entice owners and potential owners to get more involved with purchasing bloodstock and demonstrating a possibility of an early return
....it may be difficult to access these youngsters for punters but I like fresh unexposed bloodstock as it gives me a chance to get on at long odds before horses are exposed....it also allows me to demonstrate a prowess in finding above average bloodstock that can perform early....and on that note I see my big RTR pick in that race....and although I labeled him to run a promising race 1st time out.... I am however a bit skeptical about his riding arrangements and comments on his debut run....as they make out that the horse was at fault yet the jock imo ran a shocker yet the horse got into the picture despite the wide poor ride.....:S

Slw-green,hung/shft......this was the Computaform comment for Bohemian Grove's debut run and enough for any punter that did not actually watch the race as closely as I did to exclude this horse as problematic in future heats.....now I don't have anything against the jockey or any other of his ilk but giving incorrect feedback to mask a poor ride is most detrimental to the future of a horses performance.....slow-yes the jock was half asleep.... green.... maybe but not as green as the jock... as on RTR gallop the horse ran in a dead straight line with a diminutive work rider....hung....no way.... the jock steered him off a straight line and shifted him to the inside....now with this feedback they now engage a heavier handed rider to now assist this "problematic" horse.....:S

.....this horse failed to raise a gallop after being bustled by the heavy handed jock.....and for me totally predictable and this horse will in the near future struggle to make a comeback.....but one day with the right type of jock and conditions will surprise at very big odds.....

Rascova went out to 50/1 at one stage. That was to big a price and small each way was worth a bet especially with the sex allowance and the jockey Soumillon winning prior. The second horse, Distant Winter, although unfancied in both outings is related to two Azzie trained horses, that was backed out of the boards on their debuts. Still cannot understand why it was not fancied in both outings.

......Rascova was my No1 pick again yesterday and on her debut where I openly tipped her.....she now is the top earning Lancaster Bomber with a very smart ped pic.....and there are several more that are similar and yet to race...;) ..

......Oooppss she did it again.....just maybe the connections are not punters and her no1 fan don't stick the lights out either...:P .she is still the Bombers top earner but has much more to do in the upcoming G1 fillies and may not be as handy should there be a headwind on the day....
