Royal Victory looks to have improved with the blinkers and will take some beating today , my banker in all bets

Very competitive racing imo - haven't listened to the 'experts' nor the trainer's comments yet - so these thoughts are my own
R1: Not an easy start - the rumor mill must be in full force for Winter Muse to be that short in the betting - Idabelle improved a lot in her 2nd start before a rest - inside draw probably against her but the progeny of The United States has been in the frame a lot recently - maybe a small each-way stab
R2: Does look the easiest race on the card imo - Edward Rye good debut - only the 1 draw against him; first timer from the Soma yard with Bling in the irons could be the fly in the ointment looking at the betting market
R3: Small field - but any of these can win - even Imperial Ruby pops up every now and then and must have a chance at best - interestingly Bling rides for the first time in 52 starts  - tactics will be interesting
R4: First leg of an expected bumper P6 - and many with credentials - of the longer priced runners Esquevelle, Angel of War and Pinch Hit can't be ignored
R5: Big Burn the obvious one, but if one looks beyond her, it becomes very open; Far Away Winter with a postage stamp on her back imo the biggest danger, while Bella Chica gets 4kgs from Big Burn and if the trip to the Cape has not taken too much out of her, she must have a chance; Constable next best imo - for me I think Karangetang has something to find here
R6: Gauteng Fillies Guineas where Gimme a Shot does look like the one to beat, with Feather Boa the immediate danger; both of these have drawn wide though, so for me Miss Cool at 25/1 looks the biggest danger with Emirate Gina, who is also drawn in double figures
R7: Gauteng Guineas which should settle a few debates - is Shoemaker the best 3yr-old in Gauteng and is his Cape Guineas flop to be ignored (left-hand turn etc) ? Safer option seems to be Royal Victory, but he was beaten twice by Shoemaker and also Anfields Rocket; Unzen won in a canter last time over 1400, so can he be effective over 200m extra ? Le Morne a Cape contender who may have run below par in the Cape Guineas - very good run before that - but what about the altitude ? East Coast probably aimed at the Classis, but a hot pace would assist - and then there are a few up and coming runners - Jimmy Don, Electric Gold (also better further ?) and Eye of the Prophet - who may be better than rated - fascinating contest
R8: F&M Handicap - but it does seem to lie between the top 4 on the boards - Eternity Ring improving back to best though, and may give these a run
R9: Tough closing race imo; Gimmealight fair draw and tries blinkers - does look a worthy favorite, both Mother of Pearl and Save the Queen also drawn well and can't be ignored; Kwazzi's Lady back to best and with the allowance is very well weighted and at the odds does represent each-way value imo
Enjoy

I know theres alot of hype in the first race
But doesnt Summerfling seem appealing given it ran against the boys as its first start.
16/1 at the moment

If you got the money down, Smanga is definitely one of the best around to get them home. He will throw everything at it but to some peoples disgust....
