Good Afternoon Jim.
I trust you are well.
Thank you so much for the feedback, it's definitely something I will go back and work on. Just a correction on your post, nothing serious, Kommetdieding was purchased for R55 000 and not R70 000 as you have mentioned above.
Thanks a million again for the feedback, it's something we will go back and work on.
Have a wonderful Thursday

I am sure we are aware owning horses will always be a gamble rather than an investment.
I don't think it's a bad call to say thank you to the owners who do contribute more than most to keep the sport running, especially when in general the stakes vs stable fees have been on the decrease for a few years.
So well done to everyone supporting the game during difficult times
Good Punting 👍

Brandon if you read this could you tell us how you prepare for a meeting when you are calling. Maybe those that have a go at you may learn a thing or two.

The benchmark should be Ali Cohen’s commentary whenever Banha Bridge ran. Professional.

Has anyone stopped to consider the pressure they are putting on Brandon? Imagine if your every move was closely monitored and every mistake that you make is broadcasted for everyone to see.
If you genuinely want to help him, perhaps send him a private message.
Or alternatively, only perfect people to post on the open platform!

Don’t see an issue with a commentators audience providing feedback. Whether that feedback is constructive or not, it’s for Brandon to decide. Being a commentator cannot be compared any ordinary job. If anything most of the feedback has not being about mistakes but rather the frills that are added to the commentary. Nothing malicious. It’s a matter of opinion. If we all used the PM function for voicing an unpopular opinion what would become of this site?
Did you ever stop to think that majority want this guy to succeed ? He has put in the hard yards (to Flamingo Park and back). He deserves all the success that come his way.

Don't think commentator comparisons work as they all should be individual
For example try sounding like Smit... No one can, but he's definitely not the best commentator

Commentators in South Africa are asked to do a lot more than commentators in the UK for example
You won't see them commentate, run down the stairs and do the interviews, run back up and do previews
There are people with knives out trust me, negative comments can come from friends of others ...
Was mentioned at a content meeting at 4 Racing that ABC defends Brandon... Really?

.....and here in lies a major problem....as we are being subjected to Brandon overload....commentating tipping interviewing even got a spot on WTW....a commentator should be commentating....and the tipsters tipping interviewers interviewing.....no one has touched on the new youngster on the block.....Neil Pretorius's son Devon doing a gr8 job in Cape Town/PE and no one has hardly ever seen him....
