Hello Everyone
Saturday 11th February 2023, Kenilworth Summer Course.
Race 02) Slightly tricky these maiden special weights races as they seem to be similar to maiden handicap races and we saw yesterday at fairview some big bombs landing, (6) Jade's Caberneigh is a well bred filly related to siblings like Miss Nibbles and Ace of Spades who are very good sprinters, has had a quiet and nice introductory debut run from a wide alley and with jockey Richard Fourie retaining the ride should topple them all inspite of conceding weight all round.
Race 03) Similar situation, (3) Donder Storm seems to have better credentials in this lineup and the only concern is the drop in trip from 2000m to 1600m with just 11 days of rest. 8 Augusta Blue does have some form but in one of the earlier runs just couldn't get the better of (2) Bennelong Point which does raise some concerns coupled with the odds on offer in the betting market.
Race 04) Looks like a two horse race, (4) Red Kite is a very strong challenger to the likes of (5) Mary Lamb.
Have a nice day at the races.
Warm Regards

Run-of-the-mill meeting with smallish competitive fields and lots of scratchings - not easy to find value imo - thoughts:
R1: A lot will depend on how good Snow Pilot is, betting not really an indication yet as imo he would have been in the red were he rumored to be unbeatable; Captain Arrow had excuses in his last start, but must have a chance on his debut, where he did beat Icy Blast - but Icy Blast is trying blinkers - so improvement possible; no real market support yet for any of the debutantes; value here at 10s could be Silver Crown, who made a decent debut and should improve with the benefit of that run
R2: First of the 'Special Weights' (read 'Maiden Handicaps') races; I think Go Like Flo may find it hard to concede 7 kgs to The Agents Muse, while Hundredfifthavenue, Lady Renee and even Mari Marie does look good value at current odds. given the weight conditions
R3: Another 'Special Weights' Maiden, where I do fancy Donderstorm - had plenty of chances but imo looks well treated here; for me not a lot to choose between Fallo Ancora and Augusta Blue, while Bennelong Point looks next best; some market support now coming for Felidavian, but that one needs a lot of improvement imo
R4: Last of the 'Special Weights' Maidens, and I think Mary Lamb has a lot going for her here and should prove hard to beat; she receives 1,5 kgs from what looks to be her main opposition Red Kite; Anna Karenina is bred to improve the further she goes, so at 25s look fair value imo; some of the others receive lots of weight, but does look held imo
R5: Handicap; 6-horse sprint over 1200 for the females and many with chances imo; first 3 for me are Miss Greenlight, Body Electric and Miss Marguerite
R6: Not getting any easier; top 2 for me would be Sun Dazed from Mufasa (set to improve over his best trip)
R7: Toughest race on the card imo and I have 6 runners in the PA including Final Move who looks the value at 12s
Enjoy

Race 4 is a very interesting result in breeding.
The winner is related to Ascot Gold Cup winner of the Queen, Estimate.
The second placed horse dam won the Fillies Classic.
