Definitely a conflict of interest but let's put it this way....If Hollywood where not sponsoring half of the people involved in horse racing including Gold Circle themselves,would we still have horse racing in KZN?
Gold Circle has huge problems and that is with the millions Hollywood have put in.
I think this Gold Circle is a terribly run company and would have been out of business years ago if Hollywood Bets didn't help.

A couple of months ago I posted about structuring your bet. In all likelihood if you playing multiples you will be out if you include the first race odds on. I generally do not includes odds on runners unless it is American dirt races.

Today they had a morning Jackpot Quickmix which in 2 legs had odds on runners, the first leg and the third leg. The first leg runner opened 4/10 but drifted out to high as 9/10 with the winner shortening to 7/2 with the second fancied around 3/1 to 7/2. In the next leg, the winner was almost joint favourite in the morning but drifted out during race time. The third leg had 6 horses but the odds on for local racing was running. Bowman won the last leg in Hong Kong with a fancied runner.

If the two odds on won, the payout will have been minimal but if you structured your bet, you can try to beat them. They had only had 6 runners in the local race and you can hope for the best by putting field.

Your perm could have been,

3 by 3 by 6 by 6 which cost around R32 for 10%. It might not always happen but it can. If the favourites win you need to catch it a bigger percentage and if roughies win a smaller percentage can be sufficient for a big win. Anyway that is my strategy.
