PROMISED LAND

Good morning all from darkest Africa where the power outages have reached critical levels.

We were off this morning and go off again at 12.00 to 16.30 and again this evening from 20.00 to midnight.
After listening to De Ruyters last exit speech it just makes me more furious of the disaster that the ANC has inflicted on the PROMISED LAND under their disastrous rule.
We look forward to the new minister FLASH GORDHAM saviour of the universe to come on board.

We are looking at Solar with the neighborhood to try and become more self sufficient.

As far our beloved horses we have the Derby on Sat where Charles Dickens is impossible to oppose.
In addition the following week where we have the Classics from Turffontien and I will stick with Le Morne at 20/1 ew.

We also have huge overseas racing from Cheltenham and Dubai in March to look forward to and more will follow on the site.

Back to the topic of the Promised Land .
My understanding is that as far as SA is concerned that the Western Cape is the new place to be.
The KZN south coast has been in ruins for years and it has been creeping up the North coast recently.
PE and East London are also in a poor state.
Unemployment and crime is rife everywhere but hectic up North.

If you are young enough and have a family the Western Cape is the best option.

Good Punting 👍

Solar, mainly Chinese made if one wants to get it at a reasonable price, will be okay until they start levying a charge based on the number of solar panels...what they "give" with the right hand (tax incentive of 25% of cost of solar panels up to R15000 announced yesterday) will be stolen / taxed more with the left hand...

They are not going to allow their piggy bank (Eskom and SOE's) not have revenue for them to steal...and they want a dependent nation...leftists don't tolerate independence of thought, of action, of word...

I will suggest 4 products if u live in a house

1. Lotsa solar panels with Large inverter at 2 lithium Batteries. Rental agreements available.
2. Municipal backup system with 5000l jojo tank and pressure pump. Even better if u can connect to a borehole system
3. Connect Gas for cooking. Saves on number of batteries u need in winter months
4. Fit a septic tank modern tech quite amazing.

U may never be off the grid but u will be happier with some of the above toys.

Collect pine cones as a fuel to braai. You can do two fish or four rare lamb chops for the cost of almost nothing.
