What we should be asking as it is very rare for Singapore to have such a small field... is do they payout for 3rd place in a less than 8 horse field :huh: .....or like Ozz UK France and our local rules but I checked and no Ozz nor others paid out for this 3rd place dividend.....and so then the question should be.....are they the Tote seriously incompetent or totally compromised in that they have a hand in tote pool manipulation....are there people or a person there that is making it possible for capitalizing on possibly deliberate errors.....in this instance 2 horses were card scratchings a day before the event....the Singapore online race card did not even have numbers for these early withdrawals so there were on race day only 7 numbered and carded runners.....:oops: .

They have paid out 3 places. On our free tab sheets it states two places which we now know incorrect.

.....thanx again Naresh....the links provided are a great help....but it seems that many other tote companies in Ozz are not co mingling with Singapore pools as we and Tabtouch do.....and rather odd that our rules have always stated a 2 place payout but there is now this exception....:oops:

Just had an eureka moment.

The race was named after a horse called Flax. Flax was a South African bred horse that won a couple of features in Singapore. Ended up in Zimbabwe and won a race there as well I can recall. This horse is from the family of Blossoming Fields trained by David Ferraris which won some Grade 1s.
