HAPPY EASTER π£
2 years 2 months ago - 2 years 2 months ago
Good morning to you all and hope you have a happy and safe easter weekend.
It's been a great week as far as feel good stories.
Kyle Strydom winning his first race in the UK was a superb ride and we have a thread on the site........link below
www.africanbettingclan.com/forum/uk-and-...-from-kyle-for-dylan
Also Hollywood had another big winner in the punters competition.......link below
www.africanbettingclan.com/forum/south-a...big-hollywood-winner
Not to forget 2-0
For Scotland and Newcastle
I want to have a happy weekend so will keep clear of the ANC and focus overseas.
What about Donald Trump, before you start moaning just consider that he is as short as 3/1 to win the election in 2024.
Plus Mrs S needed to go to our local Pakistani cell shop for a new cover and when the owner heard our Scottish accent, he had great pleasure in telling us that the new chap running Scotland was born 3klms from his village.
I remember when the Pakistani shops were open 24/7 before big supermarkets came along.
I also remember in SA we had Greek cafes where you would always get chappies instead of change .
My kids thought chappies were a Greek currency and now they are my partners in crime.
Back to racing .
Have always said that the best way to get people involved in racing is by having a syndicate share in a horse.
Plus we have plenty racing competition to get punters interested.
On the racing front we should have a real royal theme on the 15th when Princess Calla should win the Empress Club Stakes.
Remember it's also the Grand National next Sat on the 15th .
It's become a more competitive race these days with better quality horses running and I feel the 100/1 shot winners are a thing of the past.
Coach Rambler is around 7/1 fav with last year's winner Noble Yeats at 9/1 , my selection is DELTA WORK 11/1 and strong ew is recommended.
Plus don't forget it's a 3 day festival
The Aintree Bowl and Hurdle on Thursday
Where SHISHKIN is the best in a very competitive race and there is no opposition for CONSTITUTION HILL and is a certainty at a very short price.
This could be the HILLS last Hurdle race before it goes over jumps ?
Just to finish on the National, everyone has heard of the three time winner RED RUM but I had a bet on CRISP to beat it in 1973 and still rate it as the best National runner ever.
They were joint favs and worth a watch
Happy Easter π£
Good Punting π

A crime is a crime. Problem with Trump fans is that you see nothing wrong with him no matter what he does or says

Syndicate share is very good and will attract a lot of people but only problem is that the parade ring will be packed. One popular syndicate have over 200 who share a few horses and most of them pitch up to the course when one of the horses are running

Good morning and I hope you all survived Easter.
We certainly had another interesting weekend in Pretoria with theft causing half the city without power as the repairs are still on going .
As far as Aintree meeting
SHISHKIN has gone 5/2
Has to beat Bravesmansgame, A Plus Tard, AHoy Sailor and Conflated.
Not sure if anyone will pitch up to beat CONSTITUTION HILL ?
DELTA WORK still 10/1
Noble Yeats also 10,/1
Coach Rambler still slight fav 8/1
Cheers πΊ
