I see they have this as a Past Event on their Competition Menu for yesterday and today.
Did anyone even know about this?

I stumbled across this yesterday - and decided to opt in, but did not even take a bet (work matters got in the way) - and received a 'Thank-You' note for my efforts (even though not placing a bet); as I have funds in my account, I might as well partake today.
To me this is not a level playing field - as there is no fixed amount for taking part in the competition - e.g. if one successfully wagers R10,000 on a horse paying R2.00 a win, then your balance would be R20,000 - so how would this be fair when compared to a guy waging a successful bet of R100 on that horse - then your balance would be R200 - and the guy with the bigger budget would win ?
Any way, I am in favor of the effort to up the Tote turn-over

the limit you can spend is R100 - so level playing fields
a couple of the local security guys play all their bets on my PC, and I saw that in the comp you have R100 to spend and you MUST spend at least the hundred to qualify, meaning you don't have to spend winnings in the comp if you don't want to

Might have missed it in all the gobbledy-gook - but I don't see the max R100 spend limit specified

Ok - so you can take a bet / bets up to R100 - but if you manage to have a winning bet in Race 1 (or any subsequent race) , those winnings are then also eligible to be spend as part of the competition in the next (or subsequent) race - makes sense imo
