POSITION OVERVIEW:
To ensure that all of our social media platforms are current. Responsible for managing the creation and successful implementation of campaign activities across a wide range of platforms, including email and web. Responsibilities also include optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple products and systems, processing digital sales orders, uploading creative and monitoring programs to make sure campaigns are running properly.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Matric
- Qualification in a related field e.g. marketing, digital media, communication, website/graphic design etc.
- Min 2-3 years experience working with digital marketing campaigns
- logical, analytical, professional demeanor, comfortable presenting to and interacting directly with clients, collaborate in various team environments, quick-witted, understanding of general digital marketing terms and tactics (SEM, SEO, targeted display, social media).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- post all relevant marketing & editorial material to TAB social media horse racing platforms & overseeing TAB social media soccer platforms
- ensure updates are timeously done on TAB horseracing social platforms daily
- manage all digital elements of the Laduma contract
- assist with all aspects of Digital Marketing & Publishing as required, including facilitating the production of advertising creative
- any ADHOC requirements as operational requires
- linking of Tipster links, that is betting related to social media platforms
- posting of local race day coverage on social media
- editing of videos provided to go onto social media platforms.
- digital acquisition
- attending local race meetings to create content that can be published in real-time
- stay abreast with changes in all social media platforms
- facilitate online conversations with customers & respond to queries
- develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic & customer engagement metrics.
- oversee social media accounts layout.
- suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions & competition.
- manage the budget allocated to social media spending, ensuring that the spend is used effectively & efficiently.
