Why are Pacaya and Winchester Mansion ....

So much shorter in the betting than Trip Of Fortune? Can't see much difference in their Peds, if you think they will stay, why would you not think the talented Trip Of Fortune wouldn't? Rather take the 55/1 TOF

THOUGHTS?

Weight and the draw perhaps? Fixed place a decent option. On that Pacaya / Winchester meeting even at 2.5 kgs better off Pacaya wont beat Winchester Mansion again.

Who was right and wrong will be revealed on Saturday - that's why horse racing is a game of opinions - and one can choose to spend one's money backing those opinions.

For me Trip of Fortune has never gone beyond 1600 and while he is being by Trippi like the other 2, one would have to say that the chances of him staying are less than the other 2 (how much less - well about 5 times less according to the odds) - Pacaya is (I think) out of an Oaks winner, while Winchester Mansion has won over 2400m - so even though they are both out at the weights, one would think that they are well weighted compared to some of the 3 yr-olds .... and my OPINION is that WM has improved a lot since he was beaten by Pacaya (first run after a break and so forth) - so I think WM will finish in front of Pacaya

I really don't fancy ToF - the only one I like less is Rain in Holland - for the rest there are many confusing form lines - for me the one that appeals most at current odds, is Rascallion - but this is an open race; I originally thought that the favorite of the 3 yr-olds is the right one, but there is nothing imo at the weights between See It Again and What A Question - then no-one has talked about the pace yet - who will make it ? And if there is no pace, this probably plays into the hands of Dave the King
