Every picture tells a story GALLERY.

Good morning all as we approach the HOLLYWOOD DURBAN JULY weekend.
Weather is playing havoc in the Cape as far as continuous rain and storms in KZN.
I am not sure if racing will be OK but many hardships being experienced throughout the country.
We leave tomorrow lunch time and hopefully we can have a successful, trouble free weekend.
Before watching the news this morning and just hearing that racing at Kenilworth is abandoned, my thought was to start a GALLERY thread.
I know Mac always takes a few nice pics for the site.
The plan is to request for you to send or post pics on this thread using "attachments " .
As every picture tells a story.
All going well we will be giving the carry over pick 6 a decent bash.
Let's be honest we have a wealth of knowledge on social media and thanks to trainers, jockeys and owners for their transparency.
I would ask you all to try and place your bets early to avoid disappointment as most services will be stretched to max.
It's the July weekend and it should be "out of this world".
August Rodin runs in the Irish Derby on Sunday and should be a cert on its way to the ARC?
Was hoping EQUINOX would take the same route but will probably go to the States.
That's all for now
Good Punting 👍

No pictures to submit, can tell yousince the storm on Tuesday, the weather has been good, not a cloud in the sky, and this weather is predicted to last into next week. The course should dry out leading into Saturday, should be all systems go
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Good morning and must say Durban is buzzing with July fever.
Last night the Barnyard, HW stretch and cocktail party etc. Were all options.
George and myself went to the GC / Hollywood cocktail 🍸 party and it was fantastic.
Graeme Hawkins was the MC and as per normal Mr Racing was superb as he introduced the owners, jockeys, trainers and overseas press representatives.
We have visitors from France, Australia and the UK arranged by Liesl King.
It was noted that these publications paid their own flights to share in the July fever.
The fashion show was "out of this world" and I did not see anything that would be suitable for me and would need to be " out of my brain " to wear the outfits.
The food and service was exceptional as we move to a busy day 2 with a catch up with more racing people today.
First is breakfast with my grandkids.
Good Punting
