" a picture is worth a thousand words.. " could not be more apt in this case.
150m from home commentator calls see it again as the likely winner... was not the case.

feel for Muis & his team...... & my pocket & numerous parts of P6 & FULL. tkts.

Well done to Muis, no disgrace in defeat giving weight to an older horse.

I'm sure the whole of Kzn must have been rooting for a local trained horse to enter the Roll of Honour after the great.....?

Sorry, can't remember the last Kzn trained winner of the July.

P. S.
(not striker)
I think if Muis rode the horse he would have won hands down
.
His win on Super Quality was a masterpiece. From the inside rail he worked the horse to the outside turning for home and reeled in the front runners.

Now if only PS could have produced the horse down the centre or the outside, it would have been race over with his momentum.

Spanish Galliard 1992 was the last KZN trained July winner

Over 30 years that a KZN horse hasn't won the big one in their own back yard.
We once had the best horses, trainers and race course...Clairwood... in the country now we just another Flamingo Park.
The out of season poly racing is becoming unbearable for many punters.

You're in a far better position than you have been for at least 20 years.

Muscutt
Puller
Van Zyl

Are all trainers that get results and have importantly have done so in stronger provinces in big races with strong fields.

I have my doubts about Roberts he has been around for many years and has now got his big horse so lets see where this goes.

The handicappers cost See It Again. Theres no need to rehash the debate about 3yo weights. The comments about another jock would have got a different result are insulting to Strydom as he rode the perfect race imvho. We forget that previous 3yo winners carried featherweights. Puller on Bush Telegraph stands out.

KZN in a better place and hopefully once the useless are replaced by Casino Man Bortz all will be well
