Finland owning a horse 🐎

Good morning all and hope you are keeping warm.

It's rather miserable these days as the load shedding is again on the increase and cable theft and vandals continue destroying sub stations.Β

We also have the burning of trucks and the "brought to book" call can never work via our judicial system, which has become as useless as a one legged man at an arse kicking competition.Β

The sooner the government make an effort to bring in the army to patrol these essential services the better, with no holding back on retaliation or punishment to perpetrators.Β

On the racing front the Gold Cup meeting should be a cracker at the end of the month with World Pool exotics.Β

We will again be looking for the bankers?

Lucky Lad? a good race in store .

Will Princess Calla go for the Mercury?

See it Again could be the horse of the year but also meets a strong field in the Champions Cup, Princess Calla also a possibility?

Gold Cup also a difficult race.

We also have which appears to be a punter friendly card today at Turffontien and its possible that the Hollywood punters competition could be won, certainly worth a bash. Note! Has been moved to the Vaal due to water shortages ( you could not write the script).

Overseas we have some great racing from Newmarket over the next few days.

Shaquille has the form but Azure Blue, Kinross and Little Big Bear a possible runner.

Moore and Buick will have some good clashes.

Nashwa and Hollie Doyle should run well.

Adayar is a cert but a 4 horse race always a concern.Β

Plenty good action.

Just to mention that AUGUSTA RODIN could meet King of Steel in the King George 29th July.

Keeping in line with my family banning me from owning horses I may have found an alternative in Finland where they have Hobby Horse events.

I have watched a few videos and it's serious stuff for the competitors with medals and prizes.

I actually thought it was a Monty Python sketch when I was watching.Β

Consider the positives .

You don't have to feed them, no training fees and they don't shit in the lounge.Β

The only negative is possibly the drugs required for owners to give you a high from leading an actual horse into the winners box.

Side effects are you may have the trotts and might be found galloping to the toilet.Β

Here is a sample including jumps and dressage, if you are looking for a new Hobby.

Good PuntingΒ

I see that 3 punters made it to the last leg and were just pipped.

I was 35th position with 2 legs to go and finished 86 from 9619.

I did take the suggested punts from Hollywood
Think it was 118 bets ?
I had 6 winners and 3 seconds and it was nice to catch a few ATCs
However the 2 short heads cost me some serious returns

Good Punting πŸ‘
