We have had a few clear days, and no rain likely during today. Still very soft as the water table is high and ground slow to dry out.
Depending on whether horses handle the soft, looks a nice card with some decent bankers.
Race 1. Not much between the raced runners, in order of preference, Trippi's Silk, Golden Grey, Solomon's Seal and Gravity. Plenty of first timers which could feature. Our Klip in die Bos will need this run.
Race 2 Questioning stands out and should be hard to beat unless a smart first timer. Some pricey ones line up here. Our Princess Raya will need this run.
race 3 Marshall again a strong chance here with Coastal Commander. Danger is Diamond Rock. Steadfast and Sacambaya also are threats.
Race 4 If Bereave is fit then he should win- was very underdone last time. Wecangoallnight low weight and improving. Silver Falcon goes for 4 in a row. Ragnar Lothbrok up in class but could surprise with a low weight.
Race 5 Looks quite open. Miss Marguerite my pick to maintain her winning ways
Race 6 October Moon should win this
Race 7 Open, Snaith has a strong hand, and Hluhluwe and Snow Pilot could fight it out.
Race 8. Gold Poker Game poor effort last time but on best form is the one to beat. Love is a Rose is a big runner, and respect for Future Girl and Broadway Girl.
race 9. Open race. Bass stable has a strong hand, but plenty with chances.
race 10. Another tricky contest, and need to go wide. Highly Confidential takes on older fillies but may be good enough.
