Please note; following 22mm of rain, areas of the track at Hollywoodbets Durbanville are waterlogged and there is further rain forecast for the day.
The race meeting scheduled for Saturday 29 July 2023 has been postponed to Monday 31 July 2023.

Bob let me say this
Everyone basically wants to live in the Western Cape and it is stunning when weather is good but in general the weather can be shitty at times.
Pretoria has the best climate .
Also the weather in Eastern Cape has also been shocking and not a good track
Turffontien is in a horrible area
Any other input and thoughts appreciated.

Move the whole show to Borrowdale. Best course on the continent. Horses that race there wont ever want to come back here..lol
Spoke to Debbie Swanson about a week ago to get some horses to her.
You can hear that its trying up there , but she wouldnt give up her job as a trainer regardless, absolutely passionate.

I would still go for a family fun day on Sundays at Randjies
Sell picnic spots, have the club house open, a few stalls a tote and a couple of bookies stands .
Ticket entries etc
Lucky draws to win a share in a horse 🐎
