Scotia on Sunday
2 years 4 days ago
Good morning all and hope you have had a great weekend.
Ours started on Friday night with a good live band and dancing.
We were all on Eyjafiallajokull (the big grey) at 14/1 ew and let's just say Bling has had better rides 🤬
On Saturday I was told to fire on Zeus so the damage was repaired.
Frankie was also impressive with Arrest and Henry Longfellow looks another Obrien star and should go for 2000 gns .
Also watched the Rugby, Ireland and the Boks were very impressive, I am sure the English ladies will do a bit better in the World Cup final today and the bookies can't separate Spain and England. 18/10 joint 90 mins.
We have local racing today from Scottsville.
I notice that many punters were looking good for the Hollywood bonus yesterday in the Cape, not many take the option to have a punt at the same time?
To be honest I only have a punt if I fancy the card and normally where a few hotties are running.
I will then take a punt on ATC places and trebles and quads as if you ever manage to find ALL the winners the extra bonus is huge.
As far as racing on Sunday is concerned we have a good card from France (Deauville) where Viva Sistine is the banker.
River Tiber has lost a bit work according to Obrien but should be a good contest with Ramatuelle and Vandeek.
As for the UK we have Pontefract, where Master of My Fate runs 😉 Evening Story the banker.
Southwell where Zenjabeela is best.
Sandown, Tranmore and Curragh also options.
As far as York is concerned, it's still a bit early but Paddington is now money on.
Savethelastdance still tops the boards in the Oaks.
Nunthorpe Highfield Princess is still the good thing.
The Ebor where Secret William is 6/1 fav it's always difficult to find the winner of this race.
Just to end, after my last post it was my intention to find the best Parkinson show and as you can imagine there were many options but Ali was special as a boxer and ironically he ended up with Parkinsons 😪
He had a great sense of humour.
Good Punting 👍
