Very sad to read. RIP Barry. He’s finally back with Reeva. A lovely man who I got to know well in PE and I’m sure he’s in a better place now than the last few years have been.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Barry Steenkamp in his sleep, on the early evening of 14 September 2023.

Barry was a blessing to many, and he will be remembered with love and great fondness.

RIP. A good trainer who had a top strike rate with jockey Wayne Agrella.
I found many winners with your horses under Wayne.
